Job Description Summary

Philadelphia College of Pharmacy (PCP) at the University of the Sciences invites applications for a 12-month tenure track faculty appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Pharmacy Administration. Successful candidates will be responsible for writing their own research grants as well as collaborating on grants with faculty at PCP and the Mayes College of Healthcare Business and Policy. The candidate will also be responsible for teaching components of the required Doctor of Pharmacy curriculum, such as pharmacoeconomics, and seeking opportunities for elective course development in the candidate’s area of interest.

Required Qualification Summary

The successful candidate must possess a Ph.D. degree with an additional healthcare degree preferred. The candidate should possess a strong background in pharmacoeconomics or health economics and outcomes. Candidates should possess exemplary interpersonal and communication skills and work collaboratively within the College and the University.

The finalist will be required to successfully pass a background check.

Essential Duties

In addition to research and teaching, the faculty member would serve the Department, College, and University by engaging in mentorship and service.
